PASADENA, CA-December 2, 2010-Hosted by The Aerospace Corporation, with support from The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the 2010 Workshop on Spacecraft Flight Software will take place from December 8-10, 2010 at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, CA.
GrammaTech, Inc., a leading manufacturer of source-code analysis tools, confirmed today that the company will sponsor the Space Flight Software Roundtable dinner moderated by Dr. Alan Unell of The Aerospace Corporation with industry experts Dr. Vinton G. Cerf, Dr. Joel Sherrill, Dr. Rob Petit, Dr. Myron Hecht and others.
What: Space Flight Software Roundtable Dinner
When: Thursday, December 9, 5:30 PM
Where: California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, CA
Why: With the advent of faster processors and advanced hardware
architectures, the modern spacecraft is highly reliant upon flight
software for mission success. Software is integral to most of the
spacecraft subsystems ranging from power to propulsion to instrument
operations. Additionally, spacecraft developers are moving beyond
providing only infrastructure to creating applications that can
revolutionize how these vehicles are operated and how data is
processed on-board. This roundtable will be an opportunity to discuss
current flight architectures, novel approaches to mission solutions,
and techniques for flight software development, integration, test and
verification in an informal and open setting.
Please note that seating is limited and advanced registration at www.flightsoftware.org is required.
