CodeSonar® 3.4 Released
GrammaTech is pleased to announce the release of CodeSonar® 3.4. New
features include:
- Incremental Analyses. Once you have done a full analysis of your
code base, you can re-analyze the code in time roughly proportional to
the number of compilation units that have changed.
- Warning Processors are plug-ins that facilitate integration
with other tools, such as bug trackers. Examples are shipped with the
product. Users can author their own with a simple API.
- "Power of 10". New warning classes support
safety-critical programming standards used by NASA on spacecraft. See
http://spinroot.com/p10/.
- Warning Classes. There are several entirely new warning
classes, and many of the existing warning classes have been extended
to handle more APIs.
- New GUI functionality includes an improved multiple edit screen,
pagination of source listings, an account editor, and alerts.
Many other improvements and bug fixes are also included.
More information about CodeSonar is available on the
CodeSonar product pages.
