Paul Anderson in Medical Design Technology

The February/March edition of Medical Design Technology contains "Safety Critical Coding Standards Reduce Medical Device Risks", by GrammaTech's Paul Anderson.

The article discusses the use of static analysis tools to address the real – and sometimes serious – issue of medical device failures attributable to software. Tools like GrammaTech's CodeSonar® can be used both to find program bugs and to enforce coding standards to reduce the likelihood of future problems.
