GrammaTech develops automatic software analysis tools that enhance software security and reliability. We are seeking a software engineering manager to oversee one or more research and development projects.
The requirements for this position are:
- BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years experience in software engineering, of which 2+ years were managing software development.
- Strong C/C++ development skills.
- Proven record of managing software projects and delivering products on time.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and people management skills.
A knowledge of software analysis techniques (both static and dynamic) is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall team management.
- Participate in roadmap and budgetary planning.
- Hire, build, and retain a strong technical team.
- Work with stakeholders to develop requirements, ascertain priorities, assess risk, and report progress.
- Lead and develop technical staff through code reviews, conflict resolution, mentoring, and recruiting.
