Windows are divided into several parts. From top to bottom, these are:

X Windows

For the purpose of this tutorial, it will be helpful to display the context pane in the Ada window.

Grips are small boxes on the right side of the window that can be used to adjust the relative sizes of some panes. To use a grip, point at it with the mouse, press SELECT down, and slide the grip up or down as necessary.

    Move the upper grip in the *untitled* window and observe how it can be used to change the size of the context pane.
