| Tutorial Top

Windows are divided into several parts. From top to bottom, these are:

Title bar, where the name of the current object being edited is displayed (e.g., *untitled*).
Menu bar, which is used to access commands and transforms.
Tool pane, which is reserved for future use. As delivered, the tool pane is hidden.
Object pane, which contains the object being edited.
Command pane, where command and transform names can be typed.
Context pane (X Windows), where buttons for context-sensitive commands and transforms can appear. As delivered, the context pane is hidden.

Status pane, where status messages and syntactic context are displayed.

For the purpose of this tutorial, it will be helpful to display the context pane in the Ada window.

Grips are small boxes on the right side of the window that can be used to adjust the relative sizes of some panes. To use a grip, point at it with the mouse, press SELECT down, and slide the grip up or down as necessary.
