Glyph Codes

The following table lists the glyphs supported by Ada-ASSURED. Glyphs may be entered in textually using the two-character escape code in conjunction with insert-glyph.

CURRENT indicates that the symbol is in the upper half of an ISO-8859-1 (Latin-1) font.

X Note that the manipulation of these characters is controlled by the character type localization category in the environment. In the default locale, usually known as the C locale, ordering and capitalization is not defined for these characters. The current locale can be changed by setting an environment variable before running the editor. The value of this variable is operating-system dependent. On Sun Sparcs it can be set as follows:
  setenv LC_CTYPE iso_8859_1
On other systems, see the documentation for setlocale for details.
MS Only Latin-1 glyphs are supported.
