Installation: License

You can continue the installation process without a the license key. After you receive the key from GrammaTech, you will need to create the license file license.dat. The program mk_license creates the file license.dat from the information that GrammaTech will send you on the form ``Licensing Information Sheet''. The mk_license program is optionally invoked by the install script described in Installing. You may also invoke it directly by entering

cd aahome/Ada-ASSURED3.5/files
./mk_license

To request a key, you need to fill out the key request form and email, fax, or mail it to GrammaTech.

1. Email
   Cut and paste the key request form into an email message and send it to:

   admin@grammatech.com

2. Mail or Fax
   Print out the key request form from your web browser and fax or mail it to:

   Usage of Ada-ASSURED and Ada-Utilities is controlled by the Globetrotter FLEXlm network license management system. You need to specify the hostname and lmhostid of the CPU to be used as the license server.

     This the a hexadecimal number assigned by FLEXlm. This is printed by the FLEXlm command lmhostid, which is included in the bin directory of the Ada-ASSURED installation.
