Installation: Extraction

• Extraction from CD-ROM

  No steps are necessary.

• Extraction from a downloaded tar file

  The compressed tar file contains directories Ada-ASSURED3.5, Ada-Utilities, and an installation script install.full. List of files contains a listing of the contents in the tar file.

  The compressed tar file will usually be named aa-platform-version.tar.gz.

  Extract the files from the tar file as follows:

  cd aahome
  gunzip tarfile.tar.gz
  tar xpvf tarfile.tar
