The value Yes means that all buffers that have associated files and that are writable will default to Auto-Save On.
Explicitly setting this parameter to Yes via set-parameters will implicitly perform auto-save-on for all writable buffers with associated files.
Explicitly setting this parameter to No via set-parameters will implicitly perform auto-save-off for all buffers.
